I love running, and I train as much as my life and myself allow me to. And many times I find myself at a crossroads that I want to share with you today.
Train and release, feel good or give in to the tiredness of the day and the blessed phrase: Today I'm terribly lazy!
For this I have an infallible mantra: THERE IS NO LEAKAZA.
And I motivate myself, knowing how good I'm going to feel afterwards. But sometimes that's not enough... and that's when I resort to my plan B.
My plan B:
In this case, I use pizza as a reward, an extra motivation is always a good idea, as well as not having to cook myself, after having given it my all!
A reward for effort, it's the ideal anti-laziness motivator and, if you choose the right combination, it's a healthy way to get your strength back.

Here's a fun fact, look what this coach achieved:
The manager of Leicester City, a team that was winning games but conceding a lot of goals. Faced with this difficulty, the manager turned to pizzas. Claudio Ranieri, in order to stop them scoring goals, had a great idea to motivate his team:
«Before every game I reminded them of the importance of keeping a clean sheet. I tried a lot of motivations. In the game against Crystal Palace, I told them: »Come on, guys. I'll offer you a pizza if you can keep a clean sheet," was apparently the perfect promise to stop his team conceding goals.
Team motivation is very important. On many occasions, it serves as a solution to a problem... And you can also look for this solution. To motivate you to train, to celebrate an achievement or a defeat, to get your strength back.
And this is my PLAN C, for those ‘dog days’, when I need all possible options to cheer me up: I look for company. Get ready together with your team. You will see that it is much more enjoyable, because the group makes the union and the union makes the strength. So, together you make a team. If it's your laziest day, you'll end up going, even if it's just for a quick chat or so that you're not the last one there.

Everything is easier when it's clear to you that it's a bet on you. And sometimes we just need a good push.
The combination of sport and pizza is undoubtedly a guaranteed success.
So choose your healthiest ingredients to recover with a conscience and most importantly: guilt-free!
And last but not least, here's a bit of news:
If you haven't started running yet and it's still a long way off, here's the first #RunStick event to get you started or improve your technique with Alvaro Rance, triathlon and endurance sports coach.
