When sharing pizza becomes a rounded moment
Some ideas are born small.
And there are nights that show you that they went far beyond what you imagined.
The Pizza & Pel-li Night in la Cerdanya finally brought together around 60 mountain lovers. Friends, people from Cerdanya and people who wanted to stop for a moment and share. And yes, it was a great success. One of those that can be felt rather than explained.
Not everything went perfectly.
We had technical problems when we played the short film. The microphone failed at the last minute and my voice didn't reach the back of the room. In addition, we had a lot more people than expected and the arrangement of the tables created some unexpected blockages. This was normal. We were thinking of a much smaller format.
A night to stop and share
But what was really valuable was something else.
The feeling of being at home.
Sitting together, unhurriedly. Sharing a nice moment of chatting, pausing and connecting. Talking about mountains, routes, excursions and plans that were appearing everywhere, almost without realising it.
In the midst of all this, there was a moment of silence and shared listening.
The short film by Lluís Cortadellas was the focus of the evening. Listening to a mountain story in the first person, told by someone who has actually lived it, completely changes the experience. It is not just seeing images. It is hearing the effort, the silence, the emotion and the truth behind each step. And that, nowadays, is a gift.
Beyond the nerves of a first time and the things we know we can improve, one thing was very clear:
That night it was:

- pause
- talk
- producte
- community
And it also became clear that Nits de Pizza are here to stay.
Because, let's be honest...
is there anything better than sharing pizza with friends?
Now that's a round day.
The moments that really add up are not the big events or the perfect staging. They are the the everyday, the simple, the real. Those who pass around a table, without forcing anything.
And if you add to all that the formatges de la Formatgeria Montmelús, the night was even more special. They were the perfect icing on the cake. Every bite took you straight to the farm, to the origin, to the authentic. What a great product. What a privilege to have it so close.
I have many ideas.
Those who know me already know that my challenge is not to imagine, but to know when to stop. Even though I'm already thinking about the next Themed Pizza Night.
